The BG Language Creation Guide
#7: Second Collaboration
This collaboration focuses on your phonology and verbal system. Please make sure you have access to both these assignments in class and please choose a new partner to work with. You and your partner should look over the phonology and verbal morphology assignments and fill out this sheet for one another. You will add five new verbs to your partner's language. As you did in the last collaborative assignment, be aware of your partner's language's grammatical structure when you do this. This includes any morphological limitations and phonetic and phonological structures. Once again, email a copy to your partner and to me.

- Practice translations. When doing these practice translations, use your partner's language, following the grammatical rules as s/he has specified them. Note that we have not yet decided upon word order. That means you do not know if pronouns are placed before or after the verb. Simply do not include the pronoun itself in your translation. For example: to translate "3s walk" simply write "walk-s".
- I translate "1p present tense sing" as ""
- I translate "2s past be called" as ""
- I translate "3s future negative speak" as ""
- I translate "3p past negative lie" as ""
